We are a little late this month due to the annual shooting party at Caynham Court. Vintage gun enthusiasts arrived for a week of traditional country house shooting at estates a short drive from home.

With their departure, focus can shift towards uploading articles again.

November boasts gun auctions from Gavin Gardner and Holt's, so plenty of viewing to be done!

With the shooting season in full swing, there is much to be happy about but the spectre of legislations hovers above us, like a malevolent bird, threatening our shotgun owners with Section-1 type restrictions. The GTA is preparing a response. Early discussions on the subject have not been optimistic.
