Asprey 1466

A rare Asprey sidelock ejector without the self-opening system. Holland & Holland type action, Southgate ejectors, 2 3/4" chambers, 27" nitro chopper-lump barrels London proof for 70mm. Large scroll engraving with gold inlay of maker's name. Ideal as a 'standard steel' ammo game gun. A nice long, well-figured walnut stock and presented in the original maker's leather case with trade label. Wonderful original conditon, showing very little evidence of use. Great value game gun from the company which later became William & Son.
