Purdey 15104
An exceptional exhibition grade Purdey wildfowling 12-bore with 3" chambers. Finished in 1894 and exhibited at the Paris Exhibition of 1898, it was sold to a famous French general and remains in remarkable original condition. The carved fences are suberb and the fine rose & scroll was engraved by James Lucas, who designed this classic Purdey decorative style. A once in a lifetime Purdey of collector grade and condition, which would also be an epic high pheasant gun.
