A nice quality back lock 28-bore hammer gun by F.E. Webb of Oxford. Rebounding back-locks with scroll engraving, 26" fine damascus barrels re-proofed for nitro. The gun has been stripped, cleaned, jointed and serviced, it is in excellent mechanical order and the barrels have been polished and best browned. Wood is well figured, in good condition and has never been re-finished, nor the chequer re-cut. Oil finish is worn, with sone age-appropriate scratches and dents but we can restore the woodwork if required.
