Terry Allen, the American photographer who has spent decades championing British gunmaking, and photographing British guns, shooting sports and people has announced the imminent release of his latest book 'Gun People'.
Terry has deep connections within the British gun trade and has been employed by many of our great firms as a photographer of people, scenes and products.
He has, for years, been carefully taking portraits of members of the trade and associated sports and businesses, with the aim of creating a book of the people who represent British Gunmaking in the first quarter of the twenty-first century.
The result is 'Gun People', Terry's homage to the trade he loves and promotes so well. It is about to leave the printer and will be available in limited numbers, as a coffee-table sized volume.
Terry will be unveiling his new book at Dallas Safari Club and Safari Club International, where he will be available to sell and sign copies.
Gun People will be an invaluable resourse for this and future generations, providing as it does, a snap-shot of a unique industry at this, pivotal, point in time.
