With a foreword by Marc Newton of Rigby and packed full of new, original source, information about Jim Corbett's life, exploits and career, his guns, his family and his travels, this is a must-read new book by Ian Douglas and it is published this week by Merlin Unwin Books.

There are a few books available on India's greatest tiger and leopard hunter of the twentieth century and not all of them are compelling, or as well written as this one by Ian Douglas. It represents the life's work of a true Corbett enthusiast and puts into print decades of research, reading and the compiling of much data.
Douglas conveys his enthusiasm and attention to detail in his prose and compliments the text with many, as yet, unseen photographs from the collections of families whose relatives knew Jim Corbett and interacted with him during his man-eater hunting years.

This is a compact book, reassuringly heavy and printed on quality paper with a good hard-back and dust cover. It is packed with facts and reflections on every aspect of Corbett's life and sheds new light on many of his adventures, debunking more than a handful of previously believed suppositions.
As Marc Newton observes in his foreward to the book, this may well be the last one we need. His life and times have now been so thoroughly examined that little mystery remains. Undiscoverd Corbett may well be the last word on this fascinating subject.

Available to order from Merlin Unwin books.
